Flying Dog Brewery is a craft brewery located in Frederick, Maryland. It was founded in 1990 by George Stranahan and Richard McIntyre, and is the largest brewery in Maryland. As of 2017, Flying Dog is the 28th largest craft brewery in the United States.

The Corner Pub was founded in 1967 and has been a 4 Corners institution for 50 years. This institution was built through years of effort by its founder, Freddie Howlin. Sadly, Freddie passed away, and since then the Pub has changed hands a few times. In 2012, two local boys, Brian Smith and Michael O'Connell, took over the Pub and returned it to its former glory. Under the management of Spencer, Liz and Dan Smith, the renamed 4 Corners Pub has risen to reclaim its place as the pride of 4 Corners.
